Sadly this will be the first year we celebrate the heroes of this global-breaking franchise without it’s creator, Akira Toriyama, but we intend to celebrate with a BANG! Saiyans, the fictional race from the series Dragon Ball starting at “Z,” where we first learned of them, and further on to even the current Daima arc started off a conquerors and the last few that survived became heroes of the Multi-verse and even the Demon Realm.

The reason we choose March 18th every year, is because when breaking down the word Saiyan (Sa-I-Ya) instead of the original Japanese pronunciation, “Saiyajin,” each individual separation can be read as the translation for the number:

Sa-> San-> 3

I-> Ichi-> 1

Ya-> Hachi-> 8

On this day every year, expect something grand to celebrate the incredible franchise!

Since 2020, we have dedicated this day to be the day that we can celebrate being different, but also unified. This is the day where our differences don’t make us different, but unified in our own uniqueness. This is the day where we can have alt-fashion, alt-music and even alt-movies. Let’s think outside of the box and see what what are truly capable of.
