Yo, Danny Fenton, he was just 14,

When his parents built a very strange machine.

It was designed to view a world unseen..

When it didn’t quite work, his folks, they just quit

But then Danny took a look inside of it

There was a great big flash, everything just changed

His molecules got all rearranged.

When he first woke up he realized

He had snow white hair, and glowing green eyes.

He could walk through walls, disappear and fly

It was then that he knew what he had to do,

He had to stop all the ghosts that were coming through.

He’s here t fight for me and you!🎶

Any fan of the infamous Nickelodeon TV series, knows this song; many the entire song by heart. In honor of the SPOOKY SEASON, we decided to dive back into the past of the early 2000s, and bring back the famous Ghost Boy, Danny Phantom. This iconic show is written and illustrated by the famous animator Butch Hartman; the same guy that made The Fairly Odd Parents and Bunsen is a Beast. Although Hartman has few works, his work stands out never-the-less. He literally is the example of quality over quantity. Although Nick has more than dragged out Fairly OddParents, with the latest season getting mixed reviews from longtime fans, the show that many hope would make a comeback is the one about the Fenton boy with ghost hunter parents.

The story simply follows as the intro song says: 14 year-old Danny Fenton was messing around with his parents’ ghost portal machine, and as such, he was permanently bonded with a ghost to his DNA. Well mostly permanent. He surprisingly loses his ghost quite a few times in this series. In fact one time led to an entire alternate timeli- ahem. I am getting ahead of myself.

Anyhow, he decides to use these new found powers to save the day and night from ghosts that haunt his town, or the occasional Box and Lunch Lady Ghosts that his parents tend to keep letting out, along with many others.

This series introduced many iconic characters like the bounty hunter Skulker, the famous ghost singer Ember and the dastardly family-stealing villain Vlad Masters. And yes, that is exactly his goal in life: to steal Danny and Jazz as his own kids, and Maddie, their mother, as his wife. I will not lie, it gets terribly confusing and crazy when he is introduced. But either way, this series has brought us good and bad characters and took us back into the time that either made or broke us as people: Highschool. It is said that people either peaked, failed or just made it through this time in our lives. But how does this fair for Danny?

Danny is just trying to make it through and graduate so he can finally leave his parents house and live his life, but how can he make it when he is in love with Paulina, who wont even notice him, fighting Dash who either jealous or is just an absolute jerk to him? Well with his trusty friends Goth girl Sam and Nerdy Geek Tucker. to be honest, this whole show felt like Ned Declassified, School Survival Guide, but with ghosts. If you know that show, you are awesome.

But hey enough of a warm-up here. Like I said earlier, we dove into the series one last time. Many fans have made so many fan-fics of the series asking what happens to Danny as he gets older and even Dani. Listen to that and more on our Podcast here:
